It’s clear that we at ALLMYNE love travel and culture, but we also love doing so in a sustainable way. What better way to combine our loves than through our new partnership with TheGoodAPI. If you haven’t noticed yet, we have a shop now! You can find all your travel needs there along with our branded materials. Furthermore, you can find minimalistic but equally trendy articles from the work we are doing with TheGoodAPI. So, how does this all work?
TheGoodAPI is a company that combines sustainability with profits by planting trees with every sale. So, when you buy our t-shirt that says “Stillness” or the adorable travel bag with “Certainty” on it (Do we get employee discounts?), a tree is planted! Now, I know what you’re thinking. How do we know that TheGoodAPI actually plants these trees? What if they’re the Once-ler instead of the Lorax? Well, we can prove that TheGoodAPI speaks for the trees. TheGoodAPI not only has an account page you can find here that shows all the trees they’ve planted with the Eden Reforestation Projects but also an open-to-the-public tree planting ledger that shows tree payments and certificates!
Still not convinced? TheGoodAPI and Eden Reforestation Projects do everything in their power to ensure the survival of trees. They work with the local governments to make sure restoration sites are protected; they hire locals to plant the trees in order to create an economic incentive to protect the trees; and a percentage of the planted trees provide food security for families. On top of that, forest guards to protect the trees are part of their overall budget. If that doesn’t sound like the Lorax, then what does?
Restored forests bring cleaner water and better farming for local communities. Therefore, it only makes sense that we at ALLMYNE would welcome TheGoodAPI as our new partners in preparation for our launch! You can find our store link here and more about TheGoodAPI here.
