SeaLegacy is the non-profit organization ALLMYNE is showcasing this month! Although there isn’t much to say at the moment on this beautiful organization because they’re moving to a new platform, we were still able to gather the essential information to help them raise donations and awareness.
Founded by Paul Nicklen and Cristina Mittermeier in 2014, SeaLegacy is “the global marketing, education, and communication agency for the ocean.” Their mission? To use strategic communications at the intersection of art, science, and conservation to protect and rewild the ocean. So, what does that mean? Well, SeaLegacy takes filmmakers and photographers on expeditions to capture the reality of our diminishing oceans. From that content—with the help of social media attention—SeaLegacy can fund global campaigns and projects in order to create sustainable change. Pretty neat, right?
If you want to provide support for ocean science and conservation, check out the donation link below. You can give monthly recurring donations to their giving program called “The Tide.” In return, you’ll receive monthly impact reports to see where your money is going and how it’s being used. Your donations allow them to save more critical marine species, support local communities, and save vital ecosystems. So check them out! They’re doing a lot of amazing work to save our ocean and in turn are saving our Earth.
