How I Celebrate the Holiday Season: Kyobe

I am Kyobe, and I am the Coordinator for the Eastern and Southern African countries. In December, I have a Christmas festival with family and friends. We donโ€™t have any specific traditions, but I usually visit my home village Kiwangala in Southern Uganda for a joyful get together with friends and family. We go to church in the morning, feast at 2 p.m., go to the village football pitch to watch local football club competitions, and then watch a movie later in the evening. My favorite parts of the holiday season are experiencing village life and enjoying the delicacies. I want all our travelers to know that travel is a way of creating memories, and memories are what matters by the end of our lives.
